YCN collaborative brief

Creative partner: Kim Sandford

Reasons why I wanted to work with Kim:

I am looking forward to working with Kim because I know that we can approach each other with ideas and be honest with each other without and awkwardness or without offending one another. I also think that we have similar interests but can help each other and broth bring something to the collaboration and from speaking to Kim about ideas we seem to have the same kind of vision.

After looking through the briefs seperately and annotating them we decided together that we both liked the Fedrigoni paper one and wanted to take this forward because of the lack of limitations it had with regards to media we liked how experimental we could be and came up with some initial ideas.



At the bottom of the sheet we were to write why we have chosen this brief, Kim and I had similar reasons like we can experiemnt with mediums. We then took the brief and narrowed everything down with regards to audience, context, tone of voice etc clarifying everything and organising it.

Our new re-written brief:


Looking closer at our audience of fashion labels, boutique publishing houses and business with global reputations. Located all over the world both male and female. Most likely high end and more well off. They will like fashion/clothing/ individuality,things unique and quality.
The function is to promote, create an experience, attract and excite.
The context will be mail, retail and web
Tone of voice is to be informative but fun
Stratergy is intially to win the competition but also to create some really good work worthy to put in our porfolio.
